The National Safety Council shared its annual list of Americans’ “Odds of Dying” from various causes.  The results may surprise you …

Are you more worried about flying than driving?  You shouldn’t be — the odds of dying in a car crash (1 in 112) are much lower than the odds of dying in an airplane crash (1 in 8,015).
And maybe we should be more afraid of simply walking home:  Your chances of dying from walking down the street (1 in 704) are far greater than the risk of dying from lightening (1 in 164,968).
